Product Performance reporting

Learn how to optimize your Meta and Google catalog campaigns with Pivot Table's in-depth product performance insights.

Product Performance is a new reporting level available in Pivot Table designed to enhance the effectiveness of your catalog campaigns at the most granular level—by product. With this tool, you can pinpoint top-performing products and identify those that consume budget without driving results, enabling data-driven decision-making and refined budget allocation.

Additionally, Product Performance offers insights into historical trends, empowering teams to plan strategically and improve overall campaign performance—all in a single, streamlined platform.

1. Getting Started

Please note that this is currently a beta tool.

To gain access, kindly submit a request by creating a ticket.

To start, you’ll need to connect your data sources and create a catalog in AMP— these steps are essential.

  1. Ad Account Connection: Link your Meta and Google ad accounts via Organization Profile in AMP to ensure full access to campaign performance data.
  2. Upload your Product Data: Integrate your product catalog in AMP by creating a Data Import in Feeds.

Now that our data is integrated, let's see how we can analyze our product's performance in Pivot Table:

  1. Create a new Pivot Table and customize it:
    Click on the + button on the left side menu to create a new sample. Select the Settings icon located on the right side menu to customize your Pivot Table.

  2. Access Filters and Pivots and select the Products Analysis Level:

    Choose the language for viewing product information and select the attributes that best suit your analysis, from the most granular (like product ID) to the most general (like product type). Attributes such as brand, network, Google Product category or Item group ID, provide valuable insights into your product performance drawing data directly from your catalog and platforms.

  3. Set up your metrics in the Metric Presets tab:

    Customize your metrics by creating a new metric preset and adding the KPIs that are most aligned to your business. Available metrics include: ad spend, impressions, link clicks, CPM and CTR.

  4. Add Graphics for a more comprehensive view:
    Choose between a line chart, to highlight trends over time and simultaneously compare up to two metrics, or a bar chart, ideal for displaying frequencies or averages.

  5. Select the date range and compare results with prior periods
    In Date Range and Comparatives, specify the date range for filtering your results and define how to group your data. Additionally, you can select a specific period for comparison with the current timeframe.

  6. Save and share your results
    In Pivot Table's right menu, you can save all your reports for easy access whenever needed from My Reports Library. You can also share them with your stakeholders by generating a link through the share icon.

    Once this configuration is complete, you will be able to analyze the performance of each product in depth and make data-driven business decisions.
